Jerusalem artichokes - organic
Jerusalem artichoke is a close relative to sunflower. It can be eaten raw like a radish, in salads, baked in its skins or roasted, in soups or creams, sautéed in a wok Chinese-style, or juiced. Once cut, it is important to soak it in lemon water to prevent oxidation. Note that Jerusalem artichokes should be eaten promptly after cooking and never be reheated as they become indigestible and cause flatulence. Certified by Quebec-Vrai.
