Organic black kale
This vegetable of the cabbage family is the champion for iron content. It beats spinach! Delicious in salads or lightly sautéed in a pan with other vegetables. Kale adds a spicy taste to soups and stews. It can be eaten "au gratin", in sauce, added to mashed potatoes... even as chips! Kale is more tasty and less bitter if eaten quickly.
