Spicy vinegar beets
Ingredients:

Beets |
To taste |
White vinegar |
1 tsp. |
Thyme |
1 |
Bay leaf |
8 |
Cloves |
8 |
Whole grains of pepper |
Instructions:
- Wash beets.
- Cook thoroughly in boiling water then peel.
- Slice and put into a bowl.
- Add previously heated vinegar and spiced into bowl.
- Allow to rest for 1 night.
- Remove and reheat vinegar until it boils.
- Put beets into sterilised glass jars.
- Pour hot vinegar and spices in glass jars.
- Seal jars.
