Two chicory salad

Ingredients:

1 Chicory lettuce, jagged
3 Endives, minced
2 Green apples, cut in dice

Dressing:

2 Tbs. Chopped walnuts
1/4 cup Olive oil
2 tsp. Hot mustard
2 Tbs. Wine vinegar
1 oz. Porto
1 tsp. Dried peppers, grinded
To taste Salt and pepper

Insctructions:

  • In a bowl salad, mix chicory and endives.  Cover with apples.
  • In a small hermetic jar, combine all dressing ingredients.  Shake well.
  • Spread on the apples, mix and serve.

Yields : 6 portions.
