Country-style kohlrabi

Ingredients:

1.5 kg Peeled kohlrabies
To taste Salt
30 g Butter
2 teaspoons Flour
1 tablespoon Chopped chive
100 ml Cream (10%-15%)

Instructions:

  • Cook the kohlrabies in salted water for about 20 minutes, until they are soft.
  • Drain them.
  • In another saucepan, melt the butter, add the flour and let cook for 5 minutes.
  • Pour the cream and let cook for 2-3 more minutes while stirring.
  • Add the kohlrabies in the sauce and heat it at low intensity during 1-2 minutes.
  • Sprinkle with chive and serve

You can also add one clove garlic to the butter and flour.

Gives 4 portions.
