Ground cherry cake

Ingredients:

1 bag of 250 g White cake mix (or homemade cake recipe)
2 cups Ground cherries released the calyx and well rinsed
¼ cup Hazelnuts
4 tablespoons Sliced white almonds
¼ cup Cashew nuts
To taste Liqueur (irish cream, tia maria or amaretto)

 Instructions:

  • Prepare the cake by following the instructions, incorporate other ingredients using a fork.
  • Pour into a round 9 inch nonstick pan.
  • Place on rack in center of oven at 325 degrees after 35 min.
  • Check with the blade of a knife for it to be cooked. Otherwise continue 5 minutes and check again.
  • Let cool.
  • Before serving, pour a little dessert liqueur into the bottom of the plates and place the cake on top.
