Kale pie with pine nuts and raisins
Ingredients:

Peeled and chopped garlic cloves |
Approx. 1/4 cup |
Water |
1/4 cup |
Raisins |
Pinch |
Cinnamon |
1/4 cup |
Pine nuts roasted |
To taste |
Salt and tamari sauce (soy) |
Instructions:
- Separate the kale from its stem, wash and remove the large ribs (they can be used, ribs and stems to make a vegetable broth or soup).
- Coarsely chop and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat oil and sauté garlic.
- Slowly add the kale and water, raisins, cinnamon and salt to taste.
- Cover and cook over medium-high heat, taking off lid and stirring every minute, until the kale is cooked (5-8 minutes).
- Add a few tablespoons of water if the mixture becomes dry or if it sticks.
- Add pine nuts, salt and tamari or serve as is or over cooked pasta. This recipe is suitable for 1 pound of pasta.
